Sport:Most Sporting School Award
| Coláiste Choilm, Ballincollig, Co. Cork was declared
the "Most Sporting School In Ireland" by Síle
De Valera, Minister of State at the Department of Education & Science,
at a special awards ceremony held in the Arena, University of
Limerick on Saturday, May 22nd, 2004. |

| The school will receive €3, 000 to spend on
physical education and sports equipment and a delegation of 25
students and 5 staff members will represent Ireland in the European
final in Holland next December. PE teacher, Sinéad Luttrell
said "the title Ireland's Most Sporting School reflects
the strong sports ethos in Coláiste Choilm and reflects
the status of PE as a core subject". |
