3ú hÁit i Siansa Gael Linn 2017 bainte amach ag Leoithne

Tháinig an grúpa ‘Leoithne’ ó Ghaelcholáiste/Coláiste Choilm, Baile an Chollaigh, Contae Chorcaí, sa tríú háit ag Craobhchomórtas Siansa Gael Linn 2017 le déanaí. Bhí an comórtas á reáchtáil ag Gael Linn, le tacaíocht ó RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta agus Irish Music Magazine. Tá Siansa ar cheann de na mórimeachtaí ar fhéilire na gceoltóirí óga.

Leoithne gave a spectacular performance at the final of the prestigious Siansa Gael Linn competition in The National Concert Hall in Dublin recently. The concert was broadcast live on Radio Na Gaeltachta & compered by the station's popular presenter Áine Hensey. This competition celebrates the cream of young traditional musicians from all around the country. Awarded with 3rd place & prize money, the group's magnificent performance puts them in line with previous winners such as the much celebrated band 'Goitse'.
